The addition of truffles to Pisinium's sliced pancetta provides it with undeniable traditional taste of Istria's famous truffle charcuterie products. Pancetta is a simple delicacy obtained from pork belly, it has been enjoyed since the time of the ancient Romans. It is believed that they discovered the process of salting and smoking fresh meat, extending its shelf life and creating new flavors. Due to slow drying and ripening, the texture of the meat is soft and moist with pleasant smell, typical for dried Istrian products.

Pisinium's range is awarded many gold medals by specialised local institutions, for its quality and traditional manufacturing practices.

 

Ingredients: pork belly without ribs and skin, sea salt, sugar, spices, dextrose, truffle coating 2% (contains black summer truffle (Tuber aestivum vitt) 3%, acidity regulator: citric acid), antioxidant: sodium ascorbate, flavouring, preservatives: sodium nitrite, potassium nitrate. 100g of product was obtained by drying 154g of pork belly.
